Craig was highly recommended to me by a friend for whom he had built a home (prior to becoming a home inspector). I asked him to do a pre-purchase inspection of a home that needed a LOT of work. He provided me with details of all of the work that was needed and a rough cost estimate. This helped me determine how much to offer for the property. After purchasing the property, I had Craig do the full inspection. He also provided a lot of guidance and suggestions about other issues I didn’t know I needed to know. I first met Craig in 2013 after buying a second home in Moultonborough. I bought the house out of foreclosure and it had the usual deferred maintenance issues but it also had problems that were never properly addressed. To add to the difficulties, my primary residence is 2500 miles from my second home and I needed someone I could trust to get things done properly. During my initial meeting at the house with Craig he immediately noticed several things that I was not aware of but needed to be addressed. I knew right away he was the person for the job. Through the years in addition to fixing a lot of the initial problems with the house he has done everything from small jobs like hanging chandeliers to big jobs like finishing my basement. The one constant thing you always get from Craig is his attention to detail. When he told me he was going into the home inspection business I told him a prospective home buyer would be lucky to have someone that pays as much attention to detail as he does. With this trait and his background in contracting he’s an excellent choice to do a home inspection and I would highly recommend him.
